Repan and his wife, refugees from Sudan, stand proudly in front of the amazing house he has built them in Sherkole camp, Ethiopia. They fled violence in 2011, and while they hope to return home, the couple are working together to make the best of their lives as refugees.

Erdogan: Turkey Will Invade Iraq And Syria Overnight

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has threatened to invade both Syria and Iraq in a surprise attack to flush out the presence of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).  “ Turkey knows what to do and when to do it, we may come there overnight all of a sudden ,” Erdogan said in a statement on Saturday. Presstv.com  reports: The remarks came after more than a dozen PKK members were killed when Turkish military aircraft carried out two separate aerial attacks against the militants’ positions in Iraq’s semi-autonomous Kurdistan region. The Turkish General Staff announced in a statement on Saturday that six PKK terrorists were killed around Sinat-Haftan area, while eight others were targeted in the countryside around Adiyaman. The statement came as the Baghdad government has frequently demanded an immediate end to Ankara’s airstrikes against Kurdish militant in northern Iraq, denouncing the assaults as unacceptable and a violation of its sovereignty...

As part of the challenge, Zuckerberg reportedly wanted to meet longtime Democrats who voted for Trump in the last election and asked his team to reach out and find such people. “I’ve spent significant time in many states already, so I’ll need to travel to about 30 states this year to complete this challenge,”  the tech CEO wrote on his personal Facebook page on January 3. “After a tumultuous last year, my hope for this challenge is to get out and talk to more people about how they’re living, working, and thinking about the future,”  he added.
